Welcome to the Third Edition of
"Telangana State Level Drawing Competition - 2022"
for school Children from Pre-School to Class X.
This edition’s theme is based on Government of India’s prestigious National Programme – Beti Bachao Beti Padhao to promote invaluable importance of girl child by protecting them and educating them for better future of India in association with CSC Academy..
This art event is aimed at indulging school children into art by letting them look, learn, draw, paint, create, make, and share their creations with world.
Cultivating Art is a non-profit organization helping kids indulge into arts to keep them away from virtual games on smart phones and enhance child-parent relationship through art.
Cultivating Art has been trying to indulge young kids of 3-16 years old towards natural arts like drawing, painting, coloring etc. and also spread social awareness programs of Government of India.
Biggest revelation from our earlier events is - Art can enhance child-parent relationship by discussing creative ideas, encouraging each other, and participating together in these events.
3rd Telangana State Level Drawing Competition is a 3-stage competition held at:
1) School Level
2) District Level
3) State Level
At every level – there will be 6 Categories with 6 Themes:
Category 2 – Classes 1 to 2
Category 3 – Classes 3 to 4
Category 4 – Classes 5 to 6
Category 5 – Classes 7 to 9
Category 6 – Classes 9 to 10
School Level Competition:
This will be held from 25th July to 25th August 2022. School can decide the date that they want to conduct this competition at their own school premises. School has to confirm the competition date and number of participants from each category by 30th July 2022 and 2 days earlier for the events prior to that.
Cultivating Art will provide all necessary materials like - drawing sheets, wax crayons or water colors at least 1 day before the competition.
Time duration will be 60 minutes.
Entry fee for participant is Rs. 100 (rupees one hundred only). There will be no other fee for anything else. This fee includes for all the materials provided to the participants, entry to District and State Level competitions, and all kinds of prizes as well.
Topics for each Category:
For Category 1 - Pre-School - Printed sheet with dotted Barbie Doll will be given wherein child has to trace the lines and then color it.
Category 2 – Classes 1 to 2 - Beti Bachao Beti Padao Logo (Creative way)
Category 3 – Classes 3 to 4 - Celebrating Girl Child Birth
Category 4 – Classes 5 to 6 - Save Girl Child
Category 5 – Classes 7 to 9 - Educate Girl Child
Category 6 – Classes 9 to 10 - Women Empowerment
Prizes Information @ School Level:
Every school will have winners in each category @ 12-15% of participants. Each winner will get a medal (Gold or Silver or Bronze), a merit certificate, entry to District Level Competition, and an online profile with the scanned art work copy with award details for life time.
Winner’s profiles will be published @ https://www.cultivatingart.in/profiles
In case, if there are more than 20 participants from one class (inclusive of all sections), then assessment will be done at class level within the category.
School with maximum number of participants will be awarded with “Best Participant School” award with Certificate of Recognition and a Trophy.
Every Participant will get a personalized name printed Participation Certificate.
District Level Competition:
All School Level Winners compete at District Level competition for next level of assessment. The theme will be the same for all categories but the student has to create a new art work that is different from the school level. Same artwork will be disqualified.
For the Category 1 - Pre-School children, a plain drawing sheet will be given wherein they have to draw Barbie Doll or any of their favourite doll drawing on their own and color it. In case, the student is of Nursery class and unable to do so, then a printed sheet will be provided.
Venue for District Level Competition:
- Centrally located school in that particular district on a specified date.
- If such school not available, then the venue will be at a centrally located premises in Hyderabad.
- For any student missed the competition due to any issue, they can attend at this centrally located premises in Hyderabad.
Prizes Information @ District Level:
Based on the number of schools and students participate in the competition, we will try to accommodate every school and student a fair chance of winning probability by ensuring at least 15% of total participants as winners at this stage.
Each winner will get a memento, an appreciation certificate, and entry to state level competition with updated online profile.
State Level Competition:
All District Level Winners compete at State Level competition for final level of assessment. The theme will be the same for all categories but the student has to create a new art work that is different from the earlier two stages. Same artwork will be disqualified. Variance will be the key here.
For the Category 1 - Pre-School children, a plain drawing sheet will be given wherein they have to draw Barbie Doll or any of their favourite doll drawing on their own and color it. No printed sheet will be given in this last stage.

Prizes Information @ State Level - 100+ Cash Prizes:
For each category:
State 1st Prize - Rs. 3,000 in cash, Excellence Certificate, Memento
State 2nd Prize - Rs. 2,000 in cash, Excellence Certificate, Memento
State 3rd Prize - Rs. 1,000 in cash, Excellence Certificate, Memento
Consolation Prizes - Rs. 500 in cash, Excellence Certificate, Memento
The number of consolation prizes will vary for each category based on the number of total participants in the respective category.
School with maximum number of winners at District & State level will be awarded with “Best School - Cultivating Art” award with Certificate of Recognition and a Trophy.
Terms and Conditions:
- Entry fee for each participant is Rs. 100 (rupees one hundred only).
- The time duration for the contest is 60 minutes.
- School can decide their convenient date for School Level Competition from 25th July to 25th August 2022.
- School has to confirm their competition date, number of participants by 30th July 2022; and 2 days earlier for events prior to that.
- Venue for school level competition will be their respective school only.
- School has to submit minimum 25 entries to participate in this event.
- School can allow outside students as well with same criteria as per their own students.
- Students from all over India are allowed to participate in this event.
- School has to submit participant's information in soft copy format with Full Name & Class on or before school level event day.
- Cultivating Art will hand-over all the materials like - drawing sheets, crayons, &water colors by at least 1 day prior their competition date.
- School must conduct school level competition as guided by Cultivating Art.
- District level competitions will be conducted at a school centrally located in that district as well as in Hyderabad.
- State level competitions will be held in Hyderabad.
- All rights are reserved by Cultivating Art.
- Entry fee must be sent only through NEFT or Cheque or Cash or by Google Pay at a time for entire school. Cheque must be drawn in favor of "Cultivating Art".
- Drawings will not be returned and will be never be used for any commercial purpose.
- Renowned personalities in respective field will judge the entries.
- Judges decision is final without any jurisdiction.
- Winners information will be informed directly to the school and published on our website.
- Winners Profiles will be published before Prize Distribution.
- All drawings, fees etc. must be handed over to our official representative only, who will be available on phone and WhatsApp number: 8341700716.
- Please do not allow any other person for any activity with Cultivating Art.
- Due to any unforeseen reasons, if any changes with the event, all schools/participants must adhere and cooperate with the organizers.
