"6th Telangana State Level Drawing Competition - 2025"

for school Children from Pre-School to Class X to showcase their outstanding artistic talent and win 300+ cash prizes worth Rs. 3+ lakhs, 4,500+ medals, 100+ school awards, 150+ teacher awards, 500+ district level winners mementos, and many more.

 

This edition’s theme is based on Government of India’s prestigious National Program – “Swachh Bharat Mission” to eliminate open defecation and improve solid waste management and to create Open Defecation Free villages in India.

This art event combines Art + Social Resonsibility to maintain clean India and educate all the children and parents about the importance of Swachh Bharat Mission through art by letting them look, learn, draw, paint, create, make, and share their creations with world.

Cultivating Art is a non-profit organization helping kids indulge into arts to keep them away from virtual games on smart phones and enhance child-parent relationship through art.

Cultivating Art has been indulging young kids of 3-16 years old towards natural arts like drawing, painting, coloring, sculpting, and also becoming responsible citizens of India by giving knowledge on programs of Government of India.

75,000+ students participating in all our events so far, Art has proved that it can enhance child-parent relationship by discussing creative ideas, encouraging each other, and participating together in these events.

6th Telangana State Level Drawing Competition is a 3-stage competition held at:
1) School Level
2) District Level
3) State Level

At every level – there will be 6 Categories:

Category 1 – Pre-School - Nursery to UKG
Category 2 – Classes 1 to 2
Category 3 – Classes 3 to 4
Category 4 – Classes 5 to 6
Category 5 – Classes 7 to 9
Category 6 – Classes 9 to 10


School Level Competition:

Held from 15th July to 6th September 2025. School can decide the date that they want to conduct this competition at their own school premises. School has to confirm the competition date and number of participants from each category by 31st July 2025 or at least 4 working days earlier for the events prior to that.

 

Cultivating Art will provide all necessary materials like - drawing sheets, wax crayons or water colors at least 1 day before the competition.

 

Time duration will be 60 minutes.

 

Entry fee for participant is Rs. 100 (rupees one hundred only). There will be no other fee for anything else. This fee includes for all the coloring materials provided to the participants, entry to District and State Level competitions, and all kinds of prizes as well.

 

Topics for each Category:
  • Category 1 - Pre-School - Broom - printed dotted sheet to trace the dots and color it - Crayons
  • Category 2 – Classes 1 to 2 - Swachh Bharat Logo – Crayons
  • Category 3 – Classes 3 to 4 - Swachh Class Room – Crayons
  • Category 4 – Classes 5 to 6 - Swachh Home - Water Colors
  • Category 5 – Classes 7 to 9 -Swachh City - Water Colors
  • Category 6 – Classes 9 to 10 - Swachh Bharat - Water Colors

Competition Dates:

From 15th July to 6th September 2025

31st July 2025

 

School can submit number of participants in each class by at least 4 working days earlier to the school level event.

 

Prizes Information @ School Level:

Every school will have winners in each category @ 12-15% of participants. Each winner will get a medal (Gold or Silver or Bronze), a merit certificate, entry to District Level Competition. In case, if there are more than 20 participants from one class (inclusive of all sections), then prizes will be awarded at class level within the category.

 

Every Participant will get coloring materials - wax crayons or tempera water colors based on their class - they can take them home.

 

Every Participant will get a personalized name printed Participation Certificate.

 

Top 2 schools with maximum number of participants will be awarded with “Best Cultivating Art School” award with a Memento.

 

Next Top 100 schools with maximum number of participants will be awarded with “Best Participant School” award with a Memento.

 

For every 200 participants in a school, one teacher will be awarded as "Best Teacer Award" with a memento.

 

District Level Competition:

All School Level Winners compete at District Level competition for next level of assessment.  The topics will be the same for all categories but the student has to create a new art work that is different from the school level. Same artwork will be disqualified.

 

For the Category 1 - Pre-School children, a plain drawing sheet will be given wherein they have to draw a shape of Broom on their own and color it. In case, the student is of Nursery class and unable to do so, then a printed sheet may be provided.

 

Competition Dates:

From 6th to 19th October 2025

 

Venue for District Level Competition:
  • District level event will be conducted by Cultivating Art at the school with maximum number of participants in that district / locality.
  • If such school is unavailable to host, then the venue will be at a centrally located premises in that district/locality.
  • For any student missed the competition due to any issue, they can attend at another available venue, with prior permission from Cultivating Art.
  • Refreshments will be provided to all the participants at these events.

Prizes Information @ District Level:

Based on the number of schools and students participate in the competition, we will try to accommodate every school and student a fair chance of winning probability by ensuring 12-15% of total participants as winners at this stage.

 

All the Disrict Level Winners will have to compete at State Level Competition.

 

Winner, who failed to win at state level, will get a memento, an appreciation certificate.

 

If the District Level Winner wins at State Level, then such winner will be awarded with only State Level Memento (highest level) with Certificate of Excellence and NOT the District Level Memento.

State Level Competition:

All District Level Winners compete at State Level competition for final level of assessment.  The theme will be the same for all categories but the student has to create a new art work that is different from the earlier two stages. Same artwork will be disqualified. Variance will be the key here.

 

For the Category 1 - Pre-School children, a plain drawing sheet will be given wherein they have to draw a shape of Broom on their own and color it.

Prizes Information @ State Level - 300+ Cash Prizes worth more than Rs. 3 lakh:
For each category / class (wherever the number of participants in each class are in higher number):
  • State 1st Prize - Rs. 3,000 in cash, Excellence Certificate, Memento
  • State 2nd Prize - Rs. 2,000 in cash, Excellence Certificate, Memento
  • State 3rd Prize - Rs. 1,000 in cash, Excellence Certificate, Memento
  • Consolation Prizes - Rs. 500 in cash, Excellence Certificate, Memento

Based on the highest level of talent shown, there will be multiple number of State 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Prizes awarded and NOT limited to only one award.

 

The number of consolation prizes will vary for each category based on the number of total participants in the respective category.

 

School with maximum number of winners at District & State level will be awarded with “Best School - Cultivating Art” award with a Memento.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Entry fee for each participant is Rs. 100 (same since 2018, though quality of takeaways improved by 20 times).
  • School Level Winners will be automatically qualified to District Level and District Level Winners are qualified to State Level. There will be no additional fee to be paid for these events.
  • All rights are reserved by Cultivating Art.
  • Renowned personalities in respective field will judge event.
  • Judges decision is final without any jurisdiction.
  • Due to any unforeseen reasons, if any changes with event, all schools / participants must adhere and cooperate.
  • District level prizes will be handed over to school representatives on the state level prize distribution day so that their respective principals can felicitate them at their school.
  • Name printed Participation Certificates will be given after school provides soft copy of all the participant names, hopefully on District or State Level Event days.
  • School Level Merit Certificates and Medals will be delivered within 15-30 days after the competition is conducted.
  • Participation Certificates will be handed over mostly on District Level Events or State Level Events, if not, personally delivered within 15-30 days after the State Level Events.
  • Refreshments will be provided to Participants at District and State Level competitions.
  • Please note that this is a pure 100% NGO - not for profit event and run in most efficient way as possible. Hence only required number of materials will be given to school. More number of materials or empty certificates are not possible at all.
  • We maitain 100% transparency in everything. Wherever you have got a question either with the assessment or materials or certificates etc. school official can reach out us at any point of time and we will resolve immediately.
  • The time duration for the contest is 60 minutes at all levels.

  • Cultivating Art will provide all the materials as necessary at all levels.
  • District level event will be conducted by Cultivating Art at the school with maximum number of participants in that district / locality.
  • State level competitions will be held in Hyderabad.
  • School Art Profiles with logo, photos, event photos, prizes info, winners list etc will be published online.
  • Free crayons / water color paints for all participants as per their grade.
  • Personalized Name printed Participation Certificate for all participants.
  • Merit Certificate & Medals for winners at School Level.
  • 12-15% of participants will be awarded as school level winners.
  • 12-15% of participants will be awarded as winners at district level
  • District Level Winners Mementos and Appreciation Certificate will be given who failed to win at state level.
  • Cash Prizes @ State Level for minimum 300 winners, and it can increase / decrease based on the total number of participants.
  • State Level Winners will be presented with Excellence Certificate and State Level Memento.
  • State level winners will not be awarded with the District Level Memento or Appreciation Certificate.
  • Assessment will be done on: Technicality, Colors Selection, Shades, Creativity, Theme Followed, and Variance across levels.
  • Best School - Cultivating Art - for most number of Winners at district & state level.
  • Top 100 Best Participant Schools - for most number of Participants.
  • Best Teacher Awards - for every 200 participants in a school, one teacher will be awarded as Best Teacer Award with a memento.
  • For Schools - a chance to host our prestigious events conducted annually.
  • Topics for school, district and state level competitions will be the same.
  • Students must show their creative thinking and come up with different drawings at each stage but on the same topic.
  • Same drawings at two stages will be disqualified.
  • State level prizes will be awarded based on student’s gradual improvisation at each level.
  • Category 1 students will have to draw and color on plain sheet at district and state level.
